Our Philosophy

We believe that players are best developed in small-group environments. That’s why we limit all our small group drills to 4 players only. The game of tennis is complex, with so many moving parts. So, we feel it is important to keep groups of 4 players or fewer to coach each player individually. No player is the same. Each one thinks and processes differently.

Individualized Training

At Peterson, we believe players should be coached according to their individual learning methods. While some players learn by sight, some learn better by hearing, and others learn best with a combination of both. By keeping our groups small, our Coaches can study players, understand which method fits them best, and then coach them based on their processing ability. At Peterson, we don't believe in "cookie cutter" coaching, where players are given the same information one way.

Afterschool Academy Training Days and Hours

Small group (4 players only) Training Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Small group (4 players only) Training Hrs: 4-5 pm, 5-6 pm, 6-7 pm, 7-8 pm

Cost: 4 classes=$160

Coached Matchplay Day and Time

Wednesdays 5 pm - 6:30 pm

4 to 6 players max

Cost: 3 classes=$250

Private Lesson with Staff Coach Days and Time

Days are flexible.

Cost: $80/hr

Peterson Tennis Management Policies

Make-Up days are offered for inclement weather only.

There are no refunds.

Full Payment must be received before the session begins.

To book a private lesson your child must be enrolled in drills 2 days a week at Peterson Tennis Academy.
